Jalapeno Breakfast Waffles Recipe

Are you tired of the same old thing when it comes to your breakfast? If so, we got a great recipe for those of you who want something a little different that is full of flavor!

Jalapeno Breakfast Waffles Recipe

1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 3/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
1 1/2 tbsp. granulated sugar
3 large eggs
1 3/4 cups milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 small Jalapeno Pepper, finely chopped
non-stick vegetable cooking spray

In a large mixing bowl, combine together all of the above ingredients in the order they are given in the recipe. If you like spicier foods, by all means, add more of the chopped Jalapeno pepper to the batter. If your batter gets too thick, add a little bit more milk.

Preheat your waffle iron and spray it lightly with non-stick vegetable cooking spray. After it is done preheating, pour some of your waffle batter into the waffle iron and cook according to manufacturer’s directions. Remove and serve hot.

I do not like jalapenos very much, In fact I am not into very hot foods, so I guess I shall not try this recipe. However, I shall pass it on to my daughter-in-law who loves spicy food and I’d substitute cinnamon and vanilla extract

I have a new waffle maker and I would love to try out this different Waffle recipe! My family would love to try these, and see about putting some jalapeno in them to give them an added kick. Really interesting recipe to try.

After my husband’s own heart’s desire! He LOVES spicy and for breakfast as well! You could serve this with some melted jalapeno pepper jelly. Yum.

Although adding jalapeno sounds like a really odd ingredient for waffles…I still want to try it.

Whoa now this is a totally different kind of recipe. I have had a cupcake with jalapeno in it and it was really spicy unless you ate it with the icing which toned it down and gave a whole new flavor to it. Curious to try these out now to – thanks for the recipe

This is intriguing! I love jalapenos….jalapeno bread is good. I’m really wanting to try it. Not my husband’s thing, but my daughter and I enjoy spicier foods. I’m not sure if this would be good with cream cheese or just butter. I can’t imagine syrup but you never know. I recently tried jalapeno fudge, and you couldn’t really taste jalapenos at all. Thanks. Can’t wait to give it a try!

Oh that sounds delicious. A little heat with the sweetness of the syrup sounds like a great combination. Thanks for the recipe!!
