Good morning everyone! How was your weekend? Ours was busy as always and I didn’t get everything done that I needed to get done! Ugh! On Saturday and I went and did 2 local review jobs and then we hit the apple orchard for some apple picking and then the pumpkin patch to pick pumpkins. The Princess had a great time! It’s a family tradition to go apple picking and pumpkin picking every October and we do our best to do it every year. Next week for our WW post I will share a few photos. Yesterday I helped the hubby down in the Man Cave most of the day (the Man Cave, Family Room and Laundry Room) are being remodeled. Then onto babysitting duty last evening.
Today’s Topic: Have you ever experienced a natural disaster? For me, I have been through a few! I survived a level 1 tornado when I was a teen, then went thru a Hurricane about 10 years ago (direct strike) and then we got hit by Hurricane Irene and Hurricane Sandy in the past 2 years. Oh yeah, toss in a minor earth quake too!
We had a few giveaways close late last night so we do have winners to announce this morning. As always, we spend time every morning validating entries, trashing out the cheater entries and then randomly select a winner using random.org. We then double check that persons entry to make sure it’s legit and then finalize it.
Winner for the Baby Food Jar Organizer: Deannalw
Winner for the AVEYOU Hair Products: Heather Paddy
Congratulations to our winners! I will be sending you both emails shortly. Hope you enjoy those fabulous prizes. Have a great Monday!
For me the biggest disaster I encountered was Hurricane Sandy where we lost power for over a week and had to stay elsewhere until everything was fixed. The other hurricanes, blizzards did not do as much damage.
Natural disasters are so scary lets see I have been in a hurricane and several earthquakes I hope I’m all done! Have a great day and stay safe.
Congrats to the winners!
I’ve been in a couple of blizzards, minor earthquakes, and a bit of 2 hurricanes.
Colorado has had fires and floods this year alone with some of my friends having damage, but thankfully not my house.
