Popular Halloween Costumes for 2013

Good morning everyone! Happy Halloween Eve! Are you ready for Halloween? We are! I went to the Hershey’s Chocolate Factory and stocked up on candy about 2 weeks ago. Our decorations are up and we are ready for the little Trick or Treaters to come pay us a visit. They will be rewarded well with a slew of Hershey’s chocolate, fresh from the factory.

Today’s Topic: This year…what are your children (child) wearing for their Halloween costume? If you have no children…will you be dressing up this year? What is your favorite thing about Halloween?

We had a few giveaways close late last night so we do have winners to announce this morning. As always, we spend time every morning validating entries, trashing out the cheater entries and then randomly select a winner using random.org. We then double check that persons entry to make sure it’s legit and then finalize it.

Winner for the Zest Avenue Pre-Lit Tree is: Debra B
Winner for the Green Giant Prize Pack is: Rhonda Tenderholt
Winner for the Warner Bros. DVD is: Sherry Compton

Congratulations to all of our lucky winners this morning. Have a great Wednesday!

    HAPPY HALLOWEEN! : D
    Congrats to the winners too!

My 5 kids are all young adults on their own now but one of my daughter’s went to a party and dressed as an assassin and she looked awesome.
My husband has to work Halloween night but he is dressing as a vampire while he is at work. He is a boss/supervisor at a company.

Since my husband has to work on actual Halloween night, my husband and I celebrated over last weekend together by going out for a nice dinner date and treated ourselves to pumpkin cheesecake and then one night we rented An Interview With A Vampire and then we were extra excited the next night to go to a live play of Dracula based on Bram Stoker’ version except they scattered their own comedy elements thru it so it was even more fun! We loved it.

Today I am going to a Halloween “party” online on cafemom.com where I am a mod and I am going to play some fun Halloween themed game apps on my ipod touch 4. : )

Sadly, we are not doing anything for Halloween this year. We will be leaving for a 3 day weekend early on Friday and both have to work and get everything packed and loaded on Thursday. We have been enjoying all the spooky Halloween movies. After the trip we will concentrate our energies on getting the house ready for thanksgiving, since we will be hosting this year.

I love Halloween. My kids will be a “chicken”, a Witch, a Skeleton and A Tootsie Roll. It is so much fun seeing their smiles and taking tons of pictures!

  4. My daughter is wearing a “cute” monster costume this year. I’m excited because she’s just now old enough to really get into Halloween and enjoy walking around the neighborhood with her friends! Congrats to today’s winners. 🙂

Congratulations to the 3 winners. I am sure they will enjoy their prizes.
My children are grown up and don’t wear costumes for Halloween. I shall answer the door for the trick or treaters to give out the candy I bought either wearing a witch’s hat or some scary Halloween pins.
