Good morning everyone! How was your weekend? Ours was busy as always and I didn’t get everything done that I needed to get done! Ugh! We had some unannounced out-of-town guests show up and it was hubby’s Birthday weekend. To say we were busy all weekend, well…that would be an understatement. I need a week to sleep to just re-energize myself.
Today’s Topic: What is the scariest amusement park ride that you have ever been on? (or) Are there any amusement park rides that are so scary that you would never get on? Your favorite amusement park? A few nights ago we did Hersheypark in the Dark and they turned off the roller coaster lights at 9pm. Heck no, I didn’t get on them but hubby did and he loved riding the roller coasters in the dark.
We had a few giveaways close late last night so we do have winners to announce this morning. As always, we spend time every morning validating entries, trashing out the cheater entries and then randomly select a winner using random.org. We then double check that persons entry to make sure it’s legit and then finalize it.
Winner of the Chicken of the Sea Giveaway: Jo-ann B.
Winner of the Infrashine Flat Iron Giveaway: Caitlin M.
Congratulations to both of our winners this morning. Emails will be sent shortly, so that you can claim those fab prizes. Have a great Monday!
At Six Flags Great Adventure there is the Kingda Ka ride, but, in 2014 there adding a ride called Zumanjaro:Drop of Doom. I believe the article said the ride rises to 415 feet, and drops you, ZOOM!!
I still remember riding the Tower of Terror at Disney World when I was a kid! It’s been two decades but I’ll never forget the massive drop. With any luck I’ll get to ride it again with my own kids. 🙂
I can’t think of my favorite ride that I have been on. I really like the rides at Magic Mountain in CA. It’s been a little while since I have been there but I remember their rides are more for adults but there are also some great rides at Disneyland and Knots Berry Farms. I love rollercoaster rides and love the high free fall feeling guess that’s why I also loved skydiving.
I am so happy to have won the Chicken of the Sea cups. Thanks you for all your hard work.
I am not a great fan of rides that drop down fast, so I don’t go on most of them. I like water parks and animal parks
I like roller coasters. I think the rides that drop down fast (like a broken elevator, lol) are the hardest for my stomach to handle. I get a disoriented feeling too. Love amusement parks, so fun!
