Over the Top Birthday Celebrations

Good morning everyone! TGIF! Yay….Friday is finally here and tomorrow we begin the weekend.  First…I would like to wish my hubby Happy Birthday! He will be turning 53 years old tomorrow. Crikey, just saying that makes me feel old but thankfully, I am younger than him! ha! We have a small family celebration planned and then will be going out for “date night” just the two of us.

Today’s Question: How does your family like to celebrate birthdays? Do you have small intimate celebrates or do you go way out and host big parties?

We had a few giveaways close late last night so we do have winners to announce this morning. As always, we spend time every morning validating entries, trashing out the cheater entries and then randomly select a winner using random.org. We then double check that persons entry to make sure it’s legit and then finalize it.

Winner of the Jabra Giveaway: Ann Fantom
Winner of the Novica Giveaway: Carla Shiver

Congratulations winners! Have a great Friday everyone and hope you all have a fabulous weekend!!!

  1. Congrats to the winners & Happy B’day to your hubby.
We usually have an extended family dinner once a month and it’s always somebody’s birthday.

Congrats to the winners and Happy Birthday to your husband! 53 is just a number…just like 23. 🙂

We like to keep things simple, too. A nice family dinner out has always been our thing. When the kids were little, we did parties but their birthday itself was always a family dinner of their choosing. My daughter just had a birthday. She’s grown, and it was nice to take the day off for some shopping, then, she made dinner and margaritas (her choosing) for my husband and I. We all watched a movie. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!!!

Congratulations to the 2 winners. and Happy Birthday to your husband.
We prefer to celebrate birthday with small intimate parties, although we might plan a special gift/event for a special date birthday.
