Thomas & Friends – Christmas Books for Kids

Thomas the Tank Engine

** 2013 Holiday Gift Guide **

Are you looking for some affordable and educational holiday stocking stuffers? If so, I got a few Thomas & Friends: Christmas Books for kid’s to tell you about today.

Thomas the Tank Engine has been delighting little kids for many years and even though he is directed towards little boys, little girls love him too! Matter of fact, he is one of my 4 1/2 year old grand daughter’s favorite characters from TV. My 6 1/2 year old god son loves him too!

The Thomas & Friends children’s books would make great stocking stuffers or package several of them together to make one nice holiday gift! For this review I received 3 Thomas & Friends books that I want to tell you about today.

Thomas & Friends - Christmas Books for Kids

1. The Thomas & Friends: Thomas’ Night Before Christmas is a Little Golden Book that retails for $3.99. I love the Little Golden Book series of children’s books and I can remember buying those for my daughter when she was little. I now buy them for my grand daughter & god son. These quality children’s books have been around for over 60 years!

2. The Thomas & Friends: The Missing Christmas Tree is a board style book so it’s great for those younger children (toddlers) and is by Golden Books & Random House. This book has a wonderful Christmas story inside it’s pages and beautiful illustrations by Tommy Stubbs.

3. The Thomas & Friends: Thomas’ Christmas Star book is a punch-out ornaments book! If buying this one I would suggest giving it to the child before Christmas so that they can punch-out the ornaments and hang them onto the tree. What is really cool about this book besides the ornaments that are included is that it’s also a coloring book, so make sure you give that child a new box of crayons with it!

We received all three of these books and have really been enjoying them with our little Princess. I know as we continue to read them that they will help her to get even more excited about the upcoming holidays. I love giving children educational books for holiday & birthday gifts and these Thomas & Friends books are just fantastic!

My son loves Thomas and has since he was about 2 years old. He is 6 and would still love to have any of these products. Great gift ideas here!

I like Thomas & Friends books not just for the story lines, but also because they have different types of books -as you have just reviewed. The ornament one is great to give a child before Christmas so that he/she is a little less overexcited and has something to do.

Touching stories with characters kids will enjoy. I am always trying to think of creative fun things to put in the stockings. When my kids were little, they weren’t allowed to wake us too early or open presents, but they could have their stockings. I wanted them to have a fun item in the morning. It’s great to have books as an option.
