Green Giant Veggies Can Make a Difference With Healthy Eating

My family and I have made a pact. We have been working harder to add fresh fruits and veggies to our meals as much as possible. Some nights it is a struggle especially if I have not been to the store to grab said fresh veggies! Thankfully, there are frozen options that can really help and make a difference with our healthy eating options. Green Giant® is known for their huge selection on frozen vegetables and I was happy to review some of their products and share them with you.

I think we all know the Green Giant®. He has been around since I was a little girl and can remember that far back. The Green Giant is working hard for us with affordable ways to eat healthy, and I for one, appreciate the savings when compared to other similar products!

In my small town, we don’t have as big of a selection of products as some areas do but I was able to try a few of these tasty boxed veggies. The Broccoli in Cheese Sauce is already a staple in my house so that was a no brainer. I did need to choose a few other selections that my son would enjoy as well and I found the Niblets in Butter Sauce that has a low 90 calories per serving and their Spinach that I use in my soups. I like that they include the Weight Watcher points on each box and bag of their veggies so you know how low cal these products really are. Plus it is helpful if you follow that eating plan too!
Green Giant Vegetables
I was sent some great tools to use as well that include a fabulous Water Bottle with Fruit Infuser, a nice gym bag and a very cool health and food journal. What a treat and they are very helpful in my weight loss goals!

I am glad that I had to opportunity to check out some new products from Green Giant®. It is a great reminder that fresh doesn’t always means I have to head to the store.

    A few of our favorites in the Seasoned Steamers selection is the Mediterranean Blend, it has potatoes, zucchini, carrots and seasonings, we also love the Steamers Roasted Red Potatoes & Green beans with Rosemary butter sauce, I buy these quite frequently for a dinner side dish and there is never any leftovers when I make them.

    So many amazing products – we love a lot of them! My daughter loves the Simply Steam Broccoli Cuts and the Cauliflower and Cheese. My husband and I have our own favorite – Niblets® Corn & Butter Sauce.

    I like the chopped spinach. We enhance it with some bacon, cream cheese and onions and sour cream and eat it over scrambled eggs with potatoes. A German Recipe.
