Shelly ~ I had a fabulous Mailbox week last week! I won an Energizer Giveaway on another blog and received a new flashlight, a princess night light and some batteries. In addition to that win…I also received a $10 Target gift card and a $25 Walmart gift card which will come in super handy with the holidays approaching.

This week I received a sample of Instinct Raw Boost dog food which the dogs really enjoyed. I also received a Barney DVD for the kids I won, some female shavers & refills from ShaveMOB and 2 Unique natural cleaning products for the carpets.

Congrats on your mailbox stuffers : ) This week I got a $100 giftcard to Monroeandmain.com and I am leaning toward getting a family bracelet from there with my husband and each of our 5 kids’ names engraved on it along with all 6 of their birthstones and I plan to wear it constantly like I do my wedding ring, so that was really a special mailbox stuffer!
I also got $30 worth – 3 bags of 100% rawhide free rawhide like flavored Pork Chomps for one of our granddoggies, our daughter’s yorkie Buxton and that was more special than one would think too, because recently our daughters house was broken in by 2 gunmen and her roommates 2 giant pitbulls who could easily kill a person IF THEY WANTED TO didn’t do anything ironically (there goes that stereotype right?) although it’s probably good they didn’t because we’re afraid the men would have just shot them if they did. However my daughter’s little 12 lb yorkie Buxton even though he was shaking and afraid, was willing to put his own life on the line to try to protect his home and his loved ones and attacked them as hard as he could, because of that those horrific monsters beat him up, kicked him in the face and took him and threw him in an unknown area out of a MOVING vehicle, we didn’t know if he was alive or dead or where he was and he suffered in pain and fear all night until a lady found a bloody injured little dog in her backyard and put him on her couch to comfort him and called my daughters number on his id tag thank GOD and she came and got him and got him medical care for all his various heartbreaking injuries. He’s a little hero! So I was extra glad I won him that prize because he deserved some extra good karma come his way! (Ps he slept the first 2 days home but now he is acting playful and happy again and his injuries are healing very impressively.) Everytime I see that Purina Dog Chow Great dog song commercial I feel like they wrote it about him and I cry.
Congrats on your wins! I’m sorry to hear about your daughter’s house getting broken into and the horrible things those monsters did to brave Buxton. I’m so glad he was found and is healing!! What a very special and courageous boy!!

I recently won some Product of GIR spatulas and they arrived over the weekend. I’d been drooling over those spatulas for a while now (I have a kitchen gadget addiction, especially spatulas), and they’re everything I hoped they’d be and more.
