For many of us swallowing pills is a daily way of life. Some of the pills we swallow are huge horse-sized pills and others are no bigger than a fleck of dust. Regardless, swallowing pills several times a day is something that I definitely don’t enjoy doing.
The past few months I have been changing over to liquid health supplements and having great results! By switching over to liquid supplements I have eliminated after-pill heartburn, indigestion, nausea and tummy aches that I used to get when I swallowed over-sized pills.
I never knew that health supplements were available in a liquid form until my friend Chris told me all about them. He had to go onto liquids for a year after his bariatric surgery as he couldn’t tolerate solid foods or solid form medications.
Chris knew that I had a hard time taking a lot of pills and often ended up in some type of distress after swallowing them. He gave me a good education on the liquid forms and I have been slowly changing over to them. He told me they are absorbed better by the body and you know what? In my case that is certainly true!
These days you can find more and more liquid health supplements out in the retail marketplace and you can find many of them at Next Step Nutrition online. For me personally, I prefer to shop online and have my purchases delivered to my front door. I just love that convenience…don’t you?
I am on a mission to improve my own health and that of my husband’s. I would love to hear what type of supplements that you all take and what kind of benefits you are getting from taking them?

I’ve been sampling liquid supplements at Whole Foods and it is definitely the way to go over capsules. They often taste pretty good, too! It is a great idea to make an appointment with a WF nutritionist who could show you some great products, and go to their kiosks when they have samplings.
I didn’t know that liquid health supplements are absorbed better by the body. I do have trouble taking the larger sized pills. Th only liquid form I have tried is glucosamine chondritin, but I didn’t like the taste. I shall have to look into this more.
I do not like taking vitamin supplements in pill form. I think taking them in a liquid would be awesome and save me from getting a stomach ache. I will have to look into this!
I really, really dislike having to swallow pills. More likely than not I will end up with an expremely upset stomach afterwards or at least feeling really ill. I have been making sure to at least get my supplements in soluable form or the micro pills. I will have to look for liquid supplements. Thank you for the tip.
There are certain pills that I hate taking – fish oil being one of them. They’re big and get caught in my throat often. It’s good to know that there are alternatives out there. I knew of some liquid forms but hadn’t realized that they are absorbed better. Good to know and very helpful for taking pills in the future.
