Being a California girl, I am able to wear thongs aka flipflops here, all they way until November or December, unless it rains of course. So needless to say I tend to go through a lot of pairs. So anytime I get the chance to try a new style, I am all for it. I was asked to check out a cool line of footwear from a company that offers a very unique spin on their thongs.

I was sent a pair of womens Groundals thongs to check out. I chose the black color as it would go with anything. The first thing I noticed was the raised arch and the flexible material. These were going to be comfy! I was not disappointed. I loved the feel of the thong on my feet. The arch was just right for my foot and gave me a nice comfortable fit. The strap is comfortable and I did not have any rubbing or irritation at all. I love how the footbed starts to conform to your foot so you get a superb fit.
I have been wearing these thongs for a week or so and they are very comfortable. My feet feel great in them. I had plenty of support and I could wear them all day long with no issues. I think they actually help align my back as I was having some back pain from sleeping funny in the morning and once I started wearing the thongs, it pretty much disappeared. I love the cushion and they really made me feel great over all too. I had a nice spring in my step!
Overall, I love the comfort and fit of the Groundals. I am intrigued about the energy and grounding aspect of these shoes.

The most important thing that I have to have with sandals is comfort and second is style. I have to say that these sandals have very good arch support and they look very comfortable to wear walking.
