The countdown to Christmas has officially begun for many of us. When it comes to holiday shopping I find that buying gifts for men to be one of the toughest tasks on my holiday shopping list. Modern Design has been in business since 1978 and is located in LA’s jewelry district. This company prides itself on offering exquisite custom jewelry for both men and women. When you shop at Modern Design you will find engagement rings, wedding rings, men’s wedding bands, titanium rings, Tungsten rings and diamond earrings.
For our holiday gift guide Modern Design sent us one of their beautiful Tungsten men’s rings, SKU:746. My hubby is really hard on jewelry and just recently while we were on vacation he lost his diamond wedding band in the beach sand. Yes, he lost it and it broke his heart! He had owned that ring for over 25 years and now it was gone.
The Tungsten Ring that we received for the review features a brushed center that is accented on both sides with a high polish finish. This is one of their “comfort fit” rings and just glides onto the finger. It feels silky smooth against the skin and according to hubby…you forget you are wearing it because it is so comfortable.
The ring comes in sizes 5 through 14, including 1/2 sizes…so you really can get a customized fit! I don’t know too many stores that sell 1/2 sizes so I think this is a fabulous option. You can choose the rings thickness from 7mm or 8mm. Hubby selected the 7mm thickness because he has big fingers and big knuckles and wanted a more comfortable fit.
Even though we selected this band ring for my hubby to wear a woman could definitely wear it if she had bigger fingers/hands. Frankly, for myself I think it would make a great thumb ring! For only $90 each…you and your hubby could definitely get yourselves some matching Tungsten Rings!

What a great deal on a Tungsten ring. I like getting jewelry and getting it for a great deal. I will have to look at Modern Design to see what they have! I like earrings and rings.,
This ring looks very nice on your husband’s finger and since it is so comfortable he won’ t mid wearing it while he works. Tungsten rings seem to have become very fashionable and why not, since they look so nice.
