Easy 5 Layer Bean Dip Recipe – Perfect for Game Day

October 10, 2013 by Classystaff

Game day at my house can be a big deal, depending on who is  playing.  We love to snack on some tasty foods while watching the game in place of lunch or dinner and this recipe is a favorite.  We love that it is fast and easy to prepare; even my son will make it.   Plus you can added other things to it like guacamole, tomatoes or onions if you choose to create your own personalized recipe.

Easy 5 Layer Bean Dip Recipe

5 Layer Bean Dip Recipe Perfect for Game Day
Recipe Type: Appetiser
Cuisine: American
Author: Two Classy Chics
Prep time: 10 mins
Total time: 10 mins
Serves: 8
Quick and easy recipe to whip up for a game day appetizer.
Ingredients
  • 16 oz can Spicy Refried Beans – not warmed
  • 1/2 cup Salsa Picante – Medium heat
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream
  • 3 oz Shredded Cheddar or Mexican Blend Cheese
  • small can Chopped Olives
Instructions
  1. In an 8×8 pan, spread the beans evenly across the bottom. Layer on the additional ingredients in order : salsa, sour cream, cheese and top with olives. Make sure to reach the sides so each bite has all of the ingredients. Serve with Chips and additional salsa.
Notes
Don’t worry if you do not like spicy food. With the sour cream and cheese, this comes out very mild but with more flavor

This is so easy and you don’t even have to heat it up or bake it in the oven. I am glad that you added the comment in the Notes because I don’t like food very spicy. I don;t like to rate a recipe until I tried it which is why I only gave it 3 stars

I will definately have to try this recipe. Game Day is a huge deal around here and we go to a lot of viewing parties where we are expected to bring a side or two. I also like that all the ingridients are pretty cheap.

This is a really great and easy recipe to have with tortilla chips on game day and it is healthy to make. I like this recipe and am going to make it. My son and I would love to eat this during game day.

I’d have to add the onions and guac to make it my way. A friend always brings this dip to pot lucks and it’s always a big hit.

This looks just excellent you know I have never made this before. I usually get lazy and just buy dip for the big game but I think next time I will actually make this it looks so much better than what you buy in the store. Thank you so much for posting the recipe and have a great day.
