Brushing and flossing are my least favorite twice a day activities. I don’t mind taking care of my teeth at all. I just get distracted by the abundance of products. Over the years I’ve gone after the better toothbrush and paste, spending a pretty penny on what’s supposedly the next big thing in oral care. While whitening and polishing are a plus, my focus is on keeping my teeth and gums healthy. Keeping it simple can be best. I know you hear about better versions of toothbrushes and toothpaste on a semi-regular basis, but better floss? The most I remember hearing about floss was to choose unwaxed over waxed. I personally preferred waxed because it was a little easier on the gums, but understood why people like it unwaxed. Dr. Tung’s Smart Floss is the perfect floss for a mixed household. Smart Floss is lightly waxed, has light flavor and stretches to comfortably clean between teeth and gums. I particularly liked the cardamom flavor. It isn’t an overpowering, fake-tasting flavor, but a light, natural enhancement. It received thumbs up throughout the house.
