I have often mentioned here how much I love stationery and office products. There is just something about fine stationery that feels amazing in your hand. The touch and feel of a high quality piece of stationery is hard to explain but it makes my heart start to pitter patter just a bit more! I was so happy when I opened my mailbox and the stationery I was asked to review was included.
As I opened the package from Dempsey & Carroll Stationery Engravers, I could feel the heft of the cardstock that they use. It is something special!
I was asked to review some of the newest lines of their note card collections that Dempsey & Carroll offers. They offer some beautiful new releases, including ones with Farrow & Ball (the first time hand-painted wallpaper has been used on stationery), a second collaboration with J.McLaughlin, and ongoing releases with Schumacher and Monica Rich Kosann. Now those names really did not mean that much to me, until I saw the beauty of the art in the cards that I received.
There are 4 different individual cards – 3 were notecards and the 4th is a small gift enclosure card. Each card is a work of art crafted in thick ivory cardstock with a crafted envelope. The envelopes have a decorative inserted paper in beautiful designs so that these cards can be used for multiple reasons.
One of the cards has an embossed design of flowers and matches the paper on the envelope. The card is called Deco Flower and it is from Schumacher stationery. It comes in a small note card size. This is not a fold over card, but rather a correspondence card. Perfect for a thoughtful note for someone special.
A second card I received is made by J.McLaughlin and it is also a correspondence card as well. This is called Perugia and has a gorgeous black and white pattern on the envelope. It comes in packs of 10 cards and each card is hand-engraved in black ink, with cheery sayings- all the best, bravo, many thanks, cheers, and good luck.
Also in the collection I received a J. McLaughlin Olana correspondence card. The hand-lined envelope is in a lovely navy floral and there is a orange hand-painted border on 3-ply, 100% cotton-fiber paper. I love the pop of color for a nice cheery note to someone special.
The final card is a small enclosure card, similar to what you get when you send flowers. The envelope is lined in a peach color and the card is printed with Carpe Diem. This line is by Monica Rich Kosann. These are great for including in a gift.
All of these cards come in packs of 5 or 10. These cards are of superior quality and would make a fabulous gift for anyone. Plus their collection of Holiday cards is amazing! I love them and would love to use these myself! If you are a stationery lover, you have to check these out!

this is great would love to have some of this stationary
Thanks for this review and the link to Dempsey & Carroll. I gave my spouse personalized stationery for his birthday this year, and he was thrilled. D&C looks like a great source for future gifts. They even have a nice selection of pens and calendars.
I am still a big believer in hand written letters and notes. I enjoy writing them and I enjoy receiving them. Their stationary is lovely and I would love to add it to mine! Thanks so much for the heads up.
My mother always loved beautiful stationery. She was pleased when I’d give her some for a present.
I wish more people would write letters and send postcards…I love creative-looking and eye-catching stationary and envelopes.
I love nice stationary, I still like to write letters and miss a time when people sent letters and cards to each other. I will have to check ou this company thanks for sharing this post and have a great day.
My mother loves beautiful stationery and says nobody writes anymore since they all use the internet! She has no computer so I love to write letters and send cards. This goes on my wishlist for her Christmas present.
I love having nice stationary.. I ran out a while ago so I would love this!
I also love beautiful stationary products. I like to write notes to people instead of always emailing them. These look so well made and would make a lovely gift too.
That is very pretty stationary. It is so sad that so many people stopped writing letters and cards. I am not sure I can remember the last time I have received anything handwritten in the mail.
I love well-made stationery and the Deco Flower and Perugia cards sound lovely. Too many people are using e-cards which are okay, but not special (at least not for me).
