Celebrate National Popcorn Month with JOLLY TIME Popcorn

October 9, 2013 by Jenelle

Did you know that the month of October is popcorn month? My family is big popcorn eaters and we love all different kinds of popcorn. Sometimes we enjoy it plain, sometimes with a little butter or other popcorn seasonings on it and my newest way to enjoy it is with some dark chocolate drizzled over the top.

Halloween is quickly approaching and JOLLY TIME popcorn wanted to help us celebrate National Popcorn Month & Halloween. What a great time of the year for all kinds of Fall festivities.

JOLLY TIME Microwave Popcorn

JOLLY TIME popcorn is now even healthier to enjoy because it is now made with the Smart Balance patented blend of oils that help support heart health, and their exclusive natural ButterCrisp flavor. Every handful of perfectly crisp, 100% whole grain kernels packs mouth-watering, melted buttery goodness with zero grams of trans fat and zero hydrogenated oil.

I received a JOLLY TIME popcorn review pack to check out for all of you. I received a box of JOLLY TIME Butter Light Microwave Popcorn made with Smart Balance, a box of JOLLY TIME 100 Calorie Healthy Pop Butter Microwave Popcorn, a bag of JOLLY TIME White Pop Corn Kernels and a plastic popcorn ball maker. Way cool!

JOLLY TIME Microwave Popcorn

I decided to take the JOLLY TIME 100 Calorie Healthy Pop Butter box into work. I like to keep healthy snacks like this in my work desk to use as my afternoon snack. These boxes contain 4 mini bags of microwave popcorn and each serving is 94% fat free. If you use the Weight Watchers point system each serving is worth 3 points.  Over the course of two days me and my co-worker gobbled up this delish popcorn quickly! I think the entire office was jealous that I didn’t have enough for them too.

A few evenings a week we hold family movie or tv viewing night together as a family. We used the JOLLY TIME Butter Light microwave popcorn for those evenings. I like how well this popcorn pops and there is very little un-popped kernels left in the bag. The taste, delicious!

JOLLY TIME Microwave Popcorn

We used the JOLLY TIME White Pop Corn Kernels to make a nice treat for all of us when hosting a party for the family last week. We simply popped up the pop corn in a popcorn popper, melted some chocolate and drizzled it over the top. We then tossed in some M&M candies and we had a nice treat to serve to our guests. Super quick & easy to make.
