I love the water. I am a lot like Miss Shelly in that aspect. When I have a chance to get to the ocean, I am there. Several months ago on my trip to Oregon, we took the coast highway and traveled through Northern California along the water and winding through the national forests. It was beautiful. We arrived at the Oregon/California border just as the sun was setting. We stopped to take some pictures of a herd of Moose that were feasting in the marshes and when I turned, there was this fabulous sunset going on. I grabbed this picture and I think it is fabulous! Maybe I will have it printed and matted. I makes me feel happy!

I think it is a great picture to frame! I wish you had the pictures of the moose, too. How spectacular – what a drive. I’ve never been to California or Oregon, I’d love to go there for a vacation.
This is such a beautiful photo of the sunset from the Pacific coast. It makes me want to return to the west to travel on the highway along the coast as you did. I haven’t been to California in over 40 years and never to Oregon.

Love it. I particularly like the narrow band of clear orange sky between the ocean and the clouds, with the sun shining in the middle of it. Perfect, just perfect. Thanks for sharing.
