So you’ve recently bought a new smartphone… that’s great, but it’s certainly not the end of your buying spree. You need to spend a few more bucks to ensure protection and use other features offered by the device (headphones are required for listening music; Bluetooth speakers are required for wireless audio etc.).
But rather than choosing an add-on that makes your phone look like just another electronic device, you can go for fashionable accessories. They will add a touch of flair and element to your style, without requiring you to spend a fortune or be obnoxious.
Moreover, the fashion add-ons extend beyond serving as a whimsy by increasing the safety and functionality of the device.
The top 4 fashion accessories that you can acquaint with your smartphone are:
1. Stickers
Stickers can sometimes be purported as ‘attires’ for a smartphone. Smartphone stickers and decals add an additional appeal and they are more affordable than skins featuring pre-printed photos. With their use, you’ll be able to add a personal touch on the phone’s appearance, and they will also make it easy to spot your device on a table with similar multiple phones (it’s no fun going home with someone else’s phone).
There are several types of stickers available; glow on touch stickers, holiday themed stickers and NFC tag stickers. Also, remember to note that stickers don’t prevent the radiation emitted from the smartphone, so it is recommended that you keep away from all anti-radiation sticker scams as they will do nothing more than add to your expense.
2. Cases
Smartphone cases are essential to ensure that the device remains safe from scratches and other impacts, but that doesn’t imply adding a boring case to the phone. While most standard cases come in a simple design, custom phone cases allow you to be creative and control every aspect of the phone design.
A good case will also offer top-notch clarity and an outer shell that doesn’t peel or crack. So by going with a custom case option, you can personalize every detail of the phone and add appeal to your overall style statement.
3. Socks
A smartphone sock serves the purpose of keeping your phone free from dust and radicals in the environment, making sure that it looks sleek and magnificent when you take it out. Phone socks come in a range of colors, so you can select the one that matches the color of your handset.
Some socks are made by brands so they also include the brand’s logo (Gucci, Armani, Playboy etc.). Furthermore, the socks extend beyond protecting the smartphone, and can also be used to keep exquisite jewelry or other essentials.
4. Headphones
This perhaps tops the list when it comes to being fashionable with a smartphone. College kids are an ideal example in this regard, wearing Beats by Dr. Dre and other popular offerings when making a fashion statement. Investment in headphones serves a dual purpose in winters; excellent sound delivery and protecting the ears from cold.
As for the type, you can go with earphones, earbuds, earpods (if you have an iPhone), one-ear or wireless headsets. However, if you’re worried too much about radiation, opt for any another option expect the wireless as they are known for emissions.

Cases are the most important to keep the phone for a long life!
Never heard of socks for your phone. It’s nice that there are accessories out there so you can personalize your items. Stickers work great on phones and tablets. Cases are important in general for protection and easy portability so it’s nice to have options on styles.
We still have regular cell phones, not smart phones. I imagine that we shall be upgrading soon and then we shall have to decide about the accessories. I knew about the headphones and cases , but not about the socks and decals.
I like the covers and decals because they really make my phone look so cute and stylish. I need to get a new cover for Chirstmas and change my style. It does not take a lot of money to do this.
I never heard of smartphone SOCKS! Then again since I don’t have a smartphone I don’t pay much attentions to that sort of thing.
I LOVE decals – they are inexpensive and so easy to change. Right now I have a “Kitty” cartoon decal on mine!
I’ve never tried stickers, but I do use a cute case.

I love buying specialty covers for my phones and other electronics – they have so many creative things to choose from out there.
