Good morning everyone! It’s hard to believe but Fall is almost here!!! This past Summer really flew by and unfortunately, I spent most of it recovering from hip surgery. I am glad though that I could get out and enjoy these last few weeks of Summer.
Now that Fall is almost here…what kind of Fall activities do you and your family enjoy? We like to get out and take family walks, hikes and we take my brother’s boat onto the lake for a tour of the changing leaves every year. We also take Princess on an annual hayride, pumpkin picking and a Fall trip to the Hershey Zoo before the weather turns cold. I love Fall but I hate what comes after it!
We had a few giveaways close late last night so we do have winners to announce this morning. As always, we spend time every morning validating entries, trashing out the cheater entries and then randomly select a winner using random.org. We then double check that persons entry to make sure it’s legit and then finalize it.

I love to visit the local apple farm (go on wine tasting tours), and go apple picking in the fall – this is my favorite season – I love the weather. I also enjoy bike riding on nature trails because being surrounded by the colorful-changing leaves is so invigorating.

I am also glad that you have recuperated so well and can get out and enjoy yourself more. My favorite fall activity is also to look at the changing colors of the leaves. Although it seems that they are already changing this year – a little bit earlier than usual.

It is definitely starting early this year! We are starting to see some colored leaves here but what I find disappointing already is that a lot of trees around here are starting to drop their leaves before they have even changed colors. We went from Summer to Fall overnight and I think they are in shock or something.
My favorite fall activity is to ride around and look at the leaves. We usually ride around just out here in the country, but I love going to the mountains and looking at the leaves there.
