The Multi-tasker PUR Disappearing Act 4-in-1 Concealer

September 14, 2013 by Shelly

PUR Disappearing Act 4-in-1 Concealer

For the past few years I have been slowly switching over to more natural alternatives when it comes to most of my makeup and beauty products. With that said, I was still using a concealer that had a lot of “stuff” in it that wasn’t too good for my skin.

Recently I was introduced to the beauty products offered by Pür Minerals and was really excited when I received the offer to try out their new Disappearing Act 4-in-1 Concealer.

Pür Minerals is one of the major beauty pioneers and just recently launched a much-anticipated line of 4-in-1 mineral makeup products. This new line includes a liquid foundation, a mineral tinted moisturizer, a pressed mineral makeup foundation with SPF 15, a pressed mineral makeup foundation with skincare ingredients and the product I got to review the Disappearing Act 4-in-1 concealer.

The concealer comes in four shades: light, medium, tan and dark and is made for all skin types. Pür’s multi-benefit concealer erases the look of eye lines, dark circles, blemishes and more. Made with salicylic acid, brightening Waltheria Complex and Pür’s proprietary Ceretin Complex, Pür’s one-of-a-kind formula works to brighten, balance and lift the skin’s appearance as it conceals common imperfections that many of us deal with.

For myself…I deal with dark circles underneath my eyes every day and I hate them! I never get enough sleep and at times…I look like a raccoon in the morning. I am fortunate that so far I don’t have any fine lines or wrinkles around my eyes but I do hate that dark discoloration that seems to always be there.

I started using this product while we were on vacation and let me tell you…it worked fabulously! I simply applied it underneath my eyes and blended it in with a makeup brush. You can also use your finger tips too and a little bit of this product goes a long way! I got the medium shade because I have my summer tan but during the winter months…I would definitely go down to the light shade.

Once you have the product on…it stays put! I had no issues with it “wearing off” and did not need to reapply it at all throughout the day. It stayed put until I removed it with makeup remover. It gave me the coverage I was looking for and did a wonderful job!

I’m making the switch to more natural products, so it’s great to see such a helpful review. I like that this has staying power, as unfortunately some of the products I’ve tried work great…for about an hour.

I too have dark circles and like to use a concealer and this one is a natural blend that sounds perfect to conceal and brighten at the same time. I have not yet bought this line of cosmetics, but now I shall look into it further.

Thank you for the review! I am trying to go with more natural products also, and I hadn’t heard any reviews (good or bad) for makeup products yet, so I wasn’t sure what was best.
