My son is a very hard working young man. At almost 18, he is at school almost 12 hours a day. He is a competitive swimmer and waterpolo player on the varsity teams and he is up every day at 5:30 to be in the pool by 6am and does not get home from his second practice until after 6pm. Plus tournaments or meets at least once a week and 2 days on the weekends. The only day off he really gets to rest and recover is Sundays. For the review, they sent my son the Rockin Refuel 20G Protein Fortified Chocolate Milk that is Lactose Free. This comes in a shelf stable aseptic package. I threw them in the refrigerator and when my son came home, I offered him one.
His first reaction was to look at me funny and ask what it was. Typical. I assured him it was fine and good for him. In fact I would join him in drinking one. It really is delicious! It tastes exactly like chocolate milk. Now I rarely drink milk and only have just a bit of non fat with my cereal so I was nervous about that, but with it being a lactose Free product, I had No reaction to that container at all!

My son loves this product! He has been drinking one as soon as he gets home from practice and he says that he feels good and it helps him not feel hungry either. What I have been doing is sending one with him in to morning practice and he drinks it after he gets out of the pool before class. He has had only positive things to say about the Rockin Refuel and he loves the taste. So do I! It is good! I love that this is low in fat, sodium and cholesterol. It is a bit higher on the sugar side, but that does help with the energy and he burns it off.

I am glad that you found aproduct to help boost your son’s energy andis rich in protein too. I wouldn’t use it because of the amount of sugar in it, but it would be great for anyone who exercises a lot, etc.
My daughter is always in need of protein and often tries products. She just bought some of these because they were on sale at our local Hy-Vee. The taste is good, and the price was reasonable. You get a lot of protein in it and the muscle builder doesn’t have much sugar.
Good for them reducing the sugar. I love healthy alternative to just grab, especially with protein. I look for this online.
I’ll have to check this out. I’ve been looking for drinks that up the protein, without a lot of unwanted extras in it.
