Purchasing Custom Beach Cruisers for Holiday Gifts

Custom Beach Cruisers

As you all know…hubby and I spend a lot of time at the beach. Matter of fact, we are hoping to move down to the beach on a part time basis in 5 years and on a fulltime basis in 10 years.

With the holidays quickly approaching I am trying to think of the perfect holiday gift to get him. I was looking around online and I am seriously thinking about purchasing a custom beach cruiser for him. Well, it’s something that we can both enjoy and it would get a lot of use, heck…maybe I will get one for me too!

I love the idea of having a custom fixies (bike) made for each of us which will really help us to stand out from the crowd and we will be easily identifiable. Besides, I don’t like having the same exact thing that someone else has! I like the custom & unique look!

These days everyone is going for custom and unique looks in every facet of their lives and that includes bicycles which is one of the hottest trends going this year! This trend is not just for the kids…matter of fact, it’s a bigger trend with all of the adult riders!

I think it would be fun to get some cool accessories to go along with our beach cruisers like baskets (great for putting packages in or taking snacks/water with us), fun bells (to get people out of our way on the boardwalk) and some cool LED wheel lights so we can ride our bikes at sunrise and sunset! Yay!

When it comes to purchasing custom beach cruisers and fixies…they are a lot more affordable than you might think and you can get some of the cutest and most unique designs. If you are a bike rider, this is definitely an option you will want to check out this holiday season for that bike fanatic on your holiday shopping list!

Well there you have it…one of my great ideas on what to shop for this holiday season. Are any of you bike riders or love to ride bikes at the beach?

  1. I used to have a nice bike and it was stolen. People who want to steal bikes keep the tools they need to cut off a lock or chain. So I would say it depends on if you think it will be too easy to steal, or find out how much the insurance would be if you can add it to your policy. If you don’t plan on leaving the bike(s) outside anywhere, for instance, if you had wanted to bike and stop on the way at a restaurant, then no problem. I think it is a great idea, and sooo nice if you can look forward to living full time at the water. Nice!

  2. This would be a great idea for a gift and I like your ideas to add baskets and led lights sounds like so much fun to ride up and down the boardwalk.

  3. That would be a fantastic present! I’m just a casual bike rider myself, but my dad is really into it.

I am not a bike rider, but my younger son rides his bike all the time and likes to ride not just for exercise , but to explore also. He might love the idea of a custom bike.
