Hubby and I are both trying to eat healthier these days and one of the areas we need more help with is in the snack foods department, especially when it comes to packing lunches for him to take to work. In addition, I have hypoglycemia and I am always snacking on things throughout the day to keep my sugar up.
Most of the foods you find in the snack aisle at the grocery store are not very healthy so I was really excited to try out some products for all of you from Corazonas. The Corazonas Oatmeal Squares are the perfect mid-morning or after-school snack that really has it all! These squares are packed with excellent nutrition and have less sugar & sodium than other leading bar brands.
· 13-16 grams of whole grains
· 5 grams of fiber
· 6 grams of protein
For the review we received 7 complimentary Corazonas Oatmeal Squares to try out for all of you. We received the: White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Oatmeal Square, Chocolate Brownie & Almonds Oatmeal Square, Peanut Butter Oatmeal Square, Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Square, Banana Walnut Oatmeal Square, Blueberry Oatmeal Square and the Cranberry Flax Oatmeal Square.
These oatmeal squares are generously sized at 1.76 oz. each so trust me, they really do fill you up! Each one is all natural and is a great source of fiber, whole grain and protein. If you need to watch your sodium, they are low in sodium too! Each oatmeal square is around 190 calories with 50 fat calories…great for those who are watching their weight.
For the past week or so, hubby and I have been enjoying these oatmeal squares. My favorite two flavors are the Chocolate Chip and the Blueberry Oatmeal Squares and hubby’s favorite two are the White Chocolate Macadamia Nut & the Chocolate Brownie with Almonds…although all were delicious and super filling!
We also received a few bags of the Corazonas Tortilla Chips to try out for all of you too! We got a bag of the Lightly Salted Tortilla Chips, a bag of the Black Bean & Cheese Tortilla Chips and a bag of the Squeeze of Lime Tortilla Chips. You can purchase these in single serve bags or multiple serving sized bags.
These tortilla chips are gluten-free, all natural, contain no trans fat and are a great source of whole grain. The Corazonas chips are infused with plant sterols, which are proven in more than 140 clinical studies to help fight heart disease by lowering LDL (bad) cholesterol.
Hubby and I have been enjoying snacking on these tortilla chips throughout the week and give them a big 2-thumbs up! My favorite is the Lightly Salted and his favorite is the Squeeze of Lime. My daughter ran off with the Black Been & Cheese Tortilla Chips so they are a huge hit in our family too! Yay!
Head on over to Corazonas to learn more about the company and the fabulous foodie products that they make. Your heart and your tummy will be glad!

Wow – this got my attention! I would love to try all these squares and all the tortilla chips. I’ll be looking for them next time I go to the store. Need to get out of the rut and try something new and healthy!
I’m heading over now…This would be amazing for our family. White Chocolate Macadamia is my husband’s favorite; I’m a Brownie with Almonds, and my daughter loves chocolate chip cookies so I know the flavors would go over. Plus, my husband and I could use some heart healthy snacks, and my daughter is always trying to get protein in with sweet things.
Just checked the site store locator, and our grocery store carries them. It’s great when products have store locators.
Hi. Being a mom of 3 very busy kidos I am always looking for healthy snacks. Especially considering my youngest has Type 1 diabetes. I would love to keep these in my car, a quick sugar boost for those pesky lows. ~lisa
