Looking for a new slow cooker? I have three of them and use them all of the time. The last two that I got…I purchased from Amazon and love them!

I usually make chili on the stovetop, but this recipe might inspire me to use my slow cooker. I love the addition of wine, which I imagine brings a great depth of flavor to the chili. Thanks for this recipe; I’ve got it marked for the next time I can get a good buy on ground turkey.

This sounds wonderful. I never thought of adding wine to a chili recipe, but especially with turkey it sounds like an excellent idea. This is a recipe I would truly like to try, I am beans fan for my chili!!!

Oh, the weather turns cooler and the slow cookers and chili recipes come out. There are many chili varieties, and we love most of them. My daughter makes a white chili recipe kindof like this only it uses diced green chiles instead of jalapenos and ground chicken instead of turkey. The navy beans and cumin really pull the flavors all together.

I love anything I can cook in my slow cooker 🙂 I would probably substitute kidney beans though, since I like those better in chili. Thanks for the recipe!

I do like this recipe. I might add different types of beans such as kidney and black beans as well as the Navy beans and a pinch of cardamon.

That recipe looks very good. My friend uses cinnamon in her chili and it adds a subtle flavor to it.

The white wine with the spices sound delicious. I must get out the slow cooker since we’re out of the scorching heat here and ready to cook food again.
