A good outfit can look nice, but it is the accessories that can make or break the look! I was able to kick my wear up a notch with the fabulous hair clips I received for review from Cover Your Hair! I am such a ‘clip’ kind of girl. I enjoy putting up my hair in ponytails, half-ponytail, bangs up, and more. This keeps my drab days (of when I am stuck in a rut with my hair down) all the time.
One of my favorites was the oval broken glass hair clip, with a French barrette. It was blue and black, but available in other colors. This one was one that could handle my thick hair and went amazingly well with my work clothes (blue shirt, black slacks)! It is great for the half-ponytail style, and strong enough for a full ponytail.
I received another clip, the very beautiful black feather jaw clip. It is also strong enough to handle my thick locks. Also, was great to help transform my outfit from ordinary to elegant in a snap! The feathers gave a fancy feel without overdoing it. It is wonderful for a casual day, or going out. This clip is easily wearable from the day throughout into the night.
Lastly, the third clip I received from Cover Your Hair was the mini bow clip, a blue with white polka dots alligator clip. It was very cute, but I am not that bold to be able to wear it! So, I gave it to my little niece for her to wear. It is 3.5 inches wide, and just adorable on her. This clip is great for bangs, for partial hair to be set aside, or for children’s hair.
