Under The Golden Gate Bridge
Several months ago, my family and I went to San Francisco for a long weekend. We met my husband’s best friend there along with their family. We had such a wonderful time! We played tourist and saw tons of neat things that we do not normally see on our ventures to the City. I finally got around to downloading my big camera the other day and I found all of my pictures from that trip (and others) and there are a few that I really want to share with you.
This picture is underneath the Golden Gate Bridge at the infamous Fort Point. This fort had been defending the shores of San Francisco since 1853. It is the only brick fort west of the Mississippi and its brick shoreline has been undamaged for over 160 years. I have a really cool picture of the lights that guided the ships, but I really wanted to show off the beautiful Golden Gate at a different angle for you.
Have you ever been to San Francisco? What is your favorite place in the city?
