Addison Field’s RDA 12 Multivitamin

Addison Field's RDA 12 Multivitamin

If you want a multivitamin supplement fee of additives, preservatives, and questionable ingredients, Addison Field’s RDA 12 is worth consideration.  This whole food-derived supplement naturally provides a day’s recommended daily allowance of 12 essential vitamins.

In an ideal world, there is no need for a multivitamin.  But this world is far from ideal and many of us could use a little help.  Pollution, stress, and less than perfect eating habits make vitamin use an easy way to help balance things out.  Finding the right multivitamin is the hardest part.  What if it doesn’t dissolve like it should?  Is it worth the money?  Will it really help?  How do I find the right one?  While I’m no nutritionist, I do follow the advice given me years ago.  Find a multi with the smallest and cleanest list of ingredients.  Easy enough to find a suitable supplement, or so I thought.  I’ve found a few brands that fit the criteria over h years and keep them in rotation.   Addison Field offered me the chance to try RDA 12, their new supplement, and it has one of the cleanest ingredient lists I’ve ever seen.  I had to give it a try.

Addison Field's RDA 12 Multivitamin

Plant-derived and 100% natural, Addison Field’s RDA 12 is a departure from the usual.  This one is simple, clean, and to the point.  “Plant-derived” isn’t just a keyword to draw in the crunchy types like me.  Addison Field’s formula is a whole food supplement made from plants and nothing but plants.  Whole strawberries, pomegranates, oranges, Shiitake mushrooms, apples, beets, cranberries, carrots, grapes, and tomatoes come together to provide the recommended daily allowance of 12 essential vitamins (get it, RDA 12).   No dairy, wheat, preservatives, or gelatin included here.

The capsules are a manageable size, and a powdered version is available for those who wish to skip pills.  The suggested dose is up to two servings daily.   I’ve had my bottle for about a week now and don’t think it’s enough time to really see if it’s making a difference from one of my usuals.  I do notice that I can take a dose on an empty stomach without nausea afterward.  I take my supplements before breakfast and sometimes don’t eat for up to an hour afterward.  An absence of nausea is huge.   The price point is slightly higher than one of my usuals at $29.99 plus shipping, but a quality supplement will not be cheap.
