Silicone Ice-Pop Molds by Mastrad
Today I would like to introduce you to the company called Mastrad who makes a line of innovative kitchenware utensils and products. When you shop for Mastrad products you will find ice-pop molds, various serving utensils, food prep products, silicone bakeware, fondue sets, barware, kitchen organization and storage products…and so much more!
For the review I was sent one of the nifty Mastrad Silicone Ice-Pops Molds to try out for all of you. I was pretty excited about getting this silicone popsicle mold because I make homemade ice-pops for Princess Gia all of the time!
The ice-pop mold is made out of flexible silicone and you can use them either as a ice-pop mold or as a push-pop mold which is really cool! These silicone molds are flexible but yet rigid enough to stand upright for easy filing and freezing. Each ice-pop mold has an easy-to-use silicone tab which helps you remove your frozen concoction with ease.
For the review…I placed some fresh cherries into my juicing machine and made some homemade cherry juice. I then diluted the cherry juice with a little bit of water. I poured my cherry juice into the ice-pop molds and placed them into the freezer.
One of the things I noticed pretty quickly is that since they are made out of food-grade silicone…the ice-pops freeze much quicker than a traditional plastic mold. In addition, when it came time to release the ice-pop from the mold, I had no issues with them sticking…none at all!
When the ice-pop was out…I just rinsed them out with some clean water and refilled them again. Seriously, within 2 hours…we had a fresh batch of homemade ice-pops to enjoy!
As you all know, ice-pops and popsicles at the grocery store and convenience store cost a small fortune. Not only that, you never know what kind of ingredients are in them! You can save a boat load of money by making your own “healthy” versions of ice-pops for the kids to enjoy which makes this Mastrad Ice-Pop Mold a wise investment! We highly recommend this product to all of you!
