Summer and wine is a delicious combination that I enjoy every so often. Summertime is filled with backyard barbeques and gatherings with family and friends where wine can be a nice, light beverage. Or maybe, if you are like me, you can enjoy a lovely glass in the evening to unwind and relax! But what do you do after you open a bottle if you don’t finish the whole thing? You could put the cork back in it or use a tool to try and create a vacuum but air gets trapped inside, and that affects the wine. So how can you preserve the wine for future use? I got to test out the solution to this problem many wine drinkers encounter with a new product called Air Cork. I was sent one to review and share with you today.
Air Cork is perfect to use anytime you have leftover wine that you cannot cap or recork. This is a handy and simple to use wine preserver. Air Cork works to protect wine from oxidation, providing an airtight seal no matter how much wine is left in the bottle. It is a simple to use product that will allow you to not have to waste a drop of wine! Now you can save some for tomorrow instead of tossing it or hoping that it does not spoil before you can finish it.
It is so super simple to use! All you do is simply lower the balloon end into the bottle until just at the top surface of the wine. You then squeeze the pump and the balloon floats and seals itself to the side of the bottle, locking out air and locking in the goodness. To remove, squeeze the valve until the balloon completely deflates. Ha! It is fun to use and I love that it does not leak and it formed a nice seal around the bottle. No drips at all when we turned it up side down. Hubby held it for several minutes while we grabbed the perfect picture to show you. Sweet!
