As many of you know I suffer with a lot of chronic pain issues thanks to the rare disease called Porphyria. On top of that…I am a chronic migraine sufferer and get migraine headaches at least twice a week. I know all kinds of aches & pains and I am pretty much on a first-name basis with them all.
Today I want to introduce you to a really cool product called Hot Cherry Pillows which is an American-made sustainable product! Hot Cherry Pillows use real cherry pits that are encased in a durable, natural-dyed jean fabric and they are available in five different sizes to accommodate all of your needs.
The pillows are a great therapeutic aid that uses moist heat to instantly alleviate sore muscles and joints, increase circulation and dissolve stress. When heated, the pillow smells just like fresh cherry pie! It can also be put in the freezer to cool hot flashes, reduce inflammation and soothe injuries. My Thoughts: As I previously stated…I have all kinds of chronic aches & pains and I am always looking for alternative ways to help soothe & relieve them. In addition, we travel a lot and it’s not always feasible for me to drag along an ice pack bag and/or heating pad with me. I love portable heat & cold packs and this Hot Cherry Pillow suits me just fine thanks to it’s portability.
A few days ago I was down for the count again with another nasty migraine headache. I had my husband warm up the Hot Cherry Pillow in our microwave and immediately placed it at the back of my head and at the nape of my neck. Ahhh that warmth was so soothing and within minutes I was starting to relax. It felt really soft against my skin and it really molded itself into the specific comfortable shape that I needed. Oh and get this…it did have a light cherry scent to it too…thanks to the cherry pits!
Just yesterday I used it again because my new hip was aching me quite badly. (I had a hip replacement back in April of this year). I warmed it up in the microwave oven and placed it onto my hip. These pillows retain the heat for quite some time before you will need to heat them up again.
I haven’t used it yet for “cold therapy” because I have been needing it for “heat therapy” but I am sure it works just as well for that use too! In addition, my 4 1/2 year old grand daughter likes to use it when she is here for when she gets “tummy aches” and it’s nice to know she can’t burn herself with it…like with a traditional heating pad. That’s a huge plus in my book!

This sounds great. I wonder if the cherry pits by themselves have a therapeutic value. I am glad that it is American made and uses something that would otherwise be discarded. In addition I love cherries, but I wonder if the odor would make me hungry.
This pillow looks like it really works to help with pain and discomfort in the neck and shoulders. I would like to get this for my sister, she could really use it. I think that it is such a pretty color!
I am so glad they are helping you. Sounds like a wonderful product! First off, I love that they are American-made. The keeping their heat and cherry smell are added bonuses. My daughter has some chronic pain and is often heating up therapy packs. She gets so cold and the heat seems to help. My husband comes into the room and is always going what’s that smell? This would really be a help to eliminate that.
Think i need one or 2 of these badly too, they sound really good i will take a good look at them .
Do they deliver to the UK and if so how much is the postage please ?
