Put Me In The Story Child’s Personalized Book

Today I’d like to introduce you to customized books that make your child the star of the story alongside their favorite characters.  Put Me In the Story is an innovative children’s book platform that takes bestselling children’s picture books and well-loved characters and allows you to customize them with your child’s name throughout the story as well as a personalized dedication page that allows parents to easily personalize each book with a photo.

I was able to create a book online and decided to make a special book for my newest nephew, Bodie.  He’s only five months old, but I thought having a personalized book would be something he would love for years to come.  The process for creating the book was very simple and I was able to put the information and photo of my choosing in easily.  I think the hardest part was actually deciding which book to choose! There is a wide variety of books to choose from and you can sort through the selection by age, gender, and occasion or even by character—books featuring well known and much loved characters such as The Berenstain Bears and Elmo are available to customize.  When my son was little it was all about Elmo. I’m sure there are many little people out there who have a healthy obsession with the little red monster, so it’s pretty cool that books featuring a well-known character such as Elmo are available to order and customize.

Since my nephew has yet to become bonkers over Elmo, the book I chose to customize was The Night Night Book by Marianne Richmond. I just loved the colorful and creative illustrations in this book and thought it would be perfect gift for my nephew.  Being a mom, I have always placed a big emphasis on a regular bedtime routine and hopefully this book will become part of little Bodie’s routine.  I’m sure he will love seeing and hearing his name on just about every page of the book.  The photo I chose to include in the book was a picture of Bodie with my son, Dylan, holding him.  I thought that a picture of the cousins together would be an extra sweet and special way to customize our gift.

As I mentioned, the customization part was very straightforward and the book arrived about a week and a half or so later.  It looked beautiful and is really going to make a wonderful gift.  Whether it’s for your own children or family members or for a friend’s child, you are sure to bring big smiles and laughter to tiny faces with a customized Put Me In The Story book.  I would highly recommend this site and think that a beautiful and personalized book is incredibly special.
