Natural Skin Care Products from Earth Science Naturals

I was lucky enough to receive two Earth Science products for review and I’m happy to share my experiences with both of these great products today.  This is the second time I’ve reviewed products from this particular company and I have to say, I was really looking forward to trying out these products.  I received the Mint Tingle Purifying Facial Masque and the Active Age Defense A/B Hydroxy Acid Night Rejuvenator.

Just to give you a little refresher on this wonderful company, Earth Science is a family business that has been making natural body care products for over 30 years.  With every product they formulate, they set out to make something that will deliver great results at a great value with no compromise on quality.  Earth Science is always motivated to make the best products, using the finest, most effective, natural ingredients. They never test on animals and have always been paraben free.

The first product I want to tell you about today is the Mint Tingle Purifying Facial Masque.  This facial masque contains pure mint oils that stimulate circulation and allow skin blemishes to heal naturally. It also contains special firming clay to tighten skin, deep cleans pores and balance oily/combination skin. While the Mint Tingle Purifying Facial Masque can be used on all skin types, it is ideal for someone that has acne-prone skin.  I tend to get little break outs from time to time and I used this masque several times.  Let me tell you, it’s called “mint tingle” for a reason!  It’s like a magic potion that feels so refreshing and invigorating on your skin.  It can only be used 2 to 3 times a week, but it felt so fabulous, I would have put it on every night if I could! The masque itself is a bright hue of blue (due to the Azulene) and dried quickly on my skin.  My skin felt clean, refreshed and  firm afterwards and it really did help balance out my sometimes oily skin.  I would recommend using an older washcloth that you don’t mind staining due to the blue color.  The Mint Tingle Purifying Facial Masque comes in a 4 fluid ounce tube and is really affordable at less than $10, which I think it a tremendous beauty bargain.

The next product I reviewed was a skincare product from the Active Age Defense line of products.  The Active Age Defense A/B Hydroxy Acid Night Rejuvenator is formulated with glycolic, lactic and salicylic acids, which work to slough off old skin cells and reveal new, younger looking skin.  It is recommended for regular nightly use and will help to minimize lines and smooth skin.  This product is fragrance free and incredibly lightweight, which was a nice change from some of the night creams I’ve tried before that feel heavy and almost tacky.  The A/B Hydroxy Acid Night Rejuvenator is scientifically formulated to rejuvenate skin overnight and is fortified with a synergistic blend of time-released alpha and beta hydroxy acids, anti-oxidants and hyaluronic acid to fight the unwelcome signs of aging.  Since I’m in my early 40’s, I definitely don’t want to roll out the welcome mat for wrinkles and spots, so I love being introduced to products like this one to help combat these unwanted visitors!   As I mentioned, this is a product to be used nightly and it should be applied after cleansing and toning to your neck and face.  The price is just under $22, which is a steal for such a powerful little product.
