I have to admit something. I am a watch-o-holic. I do not know why or when this has happened but it has been occurring over time. I think it started when I used to sell jewelry and I would order one for a sample, then another and another. To me, they are an extension of my jewelry wardrobe and I love to pair them with bracelets. So when I was asked to check out and review a fabulous monogrammed boyfriend watch from The Pink Monogram, you better believe that I was happy, happy.
Being raised a Yankee, I never knew too much about monograms and things like that growing up. But having an eye for simple, classic and traditional style, I have been known to add a monogram or two to things that I have owned and loved. So running across a site like The Pink Monogram, it can really make your heart start to pound when you see all of the items that you can choose to have custom monograms added on too. Its is like your whole wardrobe and home decor designs start morphing and changing in an instant as you wander through the site. They offer over 4000 different items and offer beautiful products of all kinds.
The watch that I received for review is a beautiful stainless steel boyfriend style watch. It is called that because it is made in the men’s style design, with the bigger face and a mens style bracelet band. Even the sizing is much like a man would wear as it fits up to a size 8″ wrist. You can remove links to better fit your wrist, of course. This is just right for me beacuse I do not have a girly sized wrist so I can handle a chunky watch and I love the look!
I was excited to create my own look. I am a big fan of black and fuchsia together so that is what I created. Choosing the background design was tough, I have to admit. I love so many of the designs, but I finally settled for the Ikat pattern, which I changed to Black. I then chose the frame that holds the monogram in a round circle to match the face of the watch and got that in Hot Pink. The monogram, I chose to get in a script although there are many styles to choose from.
It was super easy to create the design and have it set up exactly the way I wanted it to be. While you do not get a preview of the design itself, the choices you have to make it truly a custom piece are huge!
The watch shipped to me really quickly. I was surprised as it came right from the manufacturer. It was perfect in every way. I love the stainless steel because it will hold up to years of wear and tear and continue to look great. It is my new favorite watch and I know I will treasure it for many years to come.
