Meet The WotWots Children’s DVD

August 30, 2013 by Shelly

Last year I was introduced to those loveable WotWots thanks to my little 4 1/2 year old grand daughter who loves them! Today, I am going to give you some information about a brand new DVD release featuring them called “Meet the WotWots” from Lions Gate Home Entertainment.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION – Join the alien duo, SpottyWot and DottyWot, as they learn and discover through fun and exciting adventures in Meet the WotWots arriving on DVD, Digital Download and Video on Demand August 20 from Lionsgate Home Entertainment. Meet the WotWots features 10 fascinating episodes from the popular TV series airing on The Hub. Meet the WotWots, which features playful exploration, participation and guided observation, will be available on DVD for the suggested price of $14.98.

Made entirely in New Zealand at the acclaimed Weta Workshop (Avatar, King Kong, The Lord of the Rings), this enchanting preschool series from Pukeko Pictures follows the irresistible alien siblings on their steam-powered spaceship, as they explore the incredible planet Earth! This delightful pair of inquiring minds has come to marvel at the extraordinary diversity of animal life on the blue planet. Each enchanting episode captures the thrill of exploration and the joy of discovery, while nurturing the values of teamwork and friendship.

EPISODES INCLUDE:

* “Scary Sucky Noise – Elephant”
* “Fruity Loopies – Giraffe”
* “Lanky Landing Legs – Flamingo”
* “Spot a DottyWot – Lion”
* “Stripe a Lotty Wotty – Zebra”
* “Plodda Lotty – Tortoise”
* “Drowsy DottyWot – Pelican”
* “Top and Tail – Spider Monkey”
* “Fluffy Puffies – Polar Bear”
* “Coughy Wot – Seal”

Our Thoughts: Princess Gia got a complimentary copy of this DVD and was pretty excited when it finally arrived. Matter of fact, she was watching it on the DVD player within minutes of it showing up at our front door!

This DVD contains 10 fun episodes which are very entertaining, fun to watch and they all have great story lines! The total run time of the DVD is approximately 110 minutes and the sound quality is exceptional thanks to the 2.0 Dolby Digital Audio.

It took us 2 days to watch the entire DVD and if I had to guess what her favorite episode was…I would have to say “Top & Tail – Spider Monkey” because she loves monkeys and repeatedly asked me to play that episode again.

The WotWots is a great educational program for young children and I believe it is beloved by both little girls and boys. I know my 6 year old god son enjoys watching the WotWots too! With the holidays coming up in a few short months, this DVD would make a great holiday gift!
