Enjoy The Old El Paso Twist on Tacos

August 29, 2013 by Classystaff

We love tacos in this family… Soft, Crispy; it does not matter to us at all! What is great about serving tacos is that you can whip it up in 20 minutes or less. From Stove to table in a flash and your family can dress them however they choose! That makes them just perfect for kids and adults. Plus you can offer a variety of toppings from lettuce, tomatoes, onions, guacamole dressing, salsa, cheese, sour cream, olives and anything else except the kitchen sink. Then use a base of seasoned meat and beans for protein and you have a delicious meal in minutes!
Old El Paso Soft Tacos
Old El Paso has been helping families for years create quick and easy Mexican style meals for many years. They offer staple items of all different types for your pantry like refried beans, salsa’s, chiles, sauces, tortillas and more. I was happy to try out some products from Old El Paso and create my own Twist on Tacos for my family the other night. I got to use some of the Old El Paso tortillas, beans and meat seasoning mix to help create our meal.

We often have tacos for dinner and I love to lay out all of the ingredients and let the family do their thing. The Old El Paso Flour tortillas were an easy accompaniment to the meal as they come in a smaller soft taco size that is perfect for anyone that loves soft tacos. I made mine with beans, seasoned meat, Mexican cheese, green chiles and some salsa and it was divine! Doesn’t it look good enough to eat?

7 layered bean dip. I didn’t really like the layout of their recipes. There was a scrolling screen, then one where you ‘picked your ingredients.’ Just didn’t seem like an easy way to find enchiladas, which I never did. I wasn’t sure what would be in them and if I’m going to make them I guess I’ll find the recipe somewhere else.
