White Chocolate Chip With Macadamia Nuts Cookie Recipe

We were talking about the love of cookies the other day and I shared a yummy chewy chocolate chip cookie recipe with you. I found another cookie recipe that I think you will love too! For those of you at love Macadamia nuts and Chocolate Chips, this one is for you! (sorry – picture is not of this recipe)

White Chocolate Chip With Macadamia Nuts Cookie Recipe

1 cup butter or margarine, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon table salt
1 bag white chocolate chips
1 small jar Macadamia nuts, chopped

In a large mixing bowl cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, light brown sugar and vanilla extract with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Beat in the eggs until well blended, set aside. In a large mixing bowl combine together the all-purpose flour, baking soda and salt. Slowly pour the flour mixture into the butter mixture, beating after each addition. Stir in the white chocolate chips and chopped Macadamia nuts. Using a tablespoon, drop the dough onto a lightly greased cookie sheet leaving 2″ between each cookie. Place the cookie sheet into a preheated 350 degree oven and bake for 8-10 minutes or until they are done. (don’t over-bake them or they will get hard). Let them cool on a wire rack for 20 minutes before placing them into a container. Recipe makes 2 dozen cookies.

    Macadamias are my nut-loving friend’s favorite, and her birthday is coming up. I think I’ll bake her a batch of these cookies! I always try to give her some macadamias, but they’re so expensive–this way I wouldn’t have to buy a big bag, and she’ll love getting something homemade. Thanks for the idea and the recipe!

    Macadania nuts are very healthy and these cookies sound so delicious. This is a very good recipe to make and take while at the Lake swimming. I really love this recipe! Thanks for sharing!

    yummy! I’m excited to try this b/c I’ve noticed macadamia nuts at Whole Foods! I’ve often experienced these nuts to be stale or even rancid at many places, and I’m thinking they will be nice and fresh at WFoods! they look delish!

    First – before I read – I looked at the photo and thought there were both semisweet and white chocolate chips in the recipe. That is the way I’d change this by having half white and half dark chocolate chips with the macadamia nuts. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it!

    I love Macadamia nuts. I think they go better with chocolate chips than the white chocolate so I might go that route.

    My husband’s favorite. He loves white chocolate macadamia cookies. I like that this uses simple ingredients. Can’t wait to see what he thinks of them.
