Stop Motion Sickness in its Tracks with Sea-Band

Sea-Band and Ginger Gum

** Complimentary Products Received for Review **

Ever since I was a little girl I have had problems with motion sickness and at times it would get so bad that it would ruin family vacations. Over the years I have had to resort to anti-nausea medications to control it while travel but now that I am older, I am looking for a drug free way to combat it.

Let me introduce you to Sea-Band, the drug free nausea relief band that is natural and safe for all ages to use. The Sea-Band can be used to relieve nausea from car sickness, motion sickness, chemotherapy sickness, morning sickness or after surgery sickness.

The Sea-Band is approved by the FDA and just recently a 2012 clinical study that was published in Neurological Sciences demonstrated that continuous stimulation of the acupoint PC6 Neiguan on the inner wrist (as provided by the Sea-Band wristband), showed statistically significant improvement in migraine-related nausea versus not using the wristbands.

I received a complimentary package of the Sea-Band Wristband and a complimentary package of Ginger Gum. Once they arrived, I read over all of the package instructions, so that I was ready-to-roll with my next car ride.

Last weekend hubby and I took a day trip down to the fruit orchard, farmer’s market, flea market and then we hit up the grocery store. We were out and about for 6 hours and usually I get sicker than a dog riding around in the car. Instead of using my normal prescription medication, I put on the Sea-Band wristband before we left the house.

The Sea-Band is meant to fit snuggly, but not tight around your wrist. You should feel it being snug…but not cutting off your circulation. It simply snaps around your wrist and out the door you go. Plus, it’s reusable and washable for future use. Gotta love that!

What surprised me about the Sea-Band is that it worked! Seriously, it worked! I was very skeptical about it, but not any more! I wore it all day long and didn’t feel nauseated or get a headache like I normally do when I am running around in a car all day long.

Regarding the anti-nausea ginger gum…I couldn’t try out that product due to my TMJ and not allowed to use gum. However, I gave the Ginger Gum to my 28 year old daughter who also gets sick when traveling. She is going out-of-town in 3 1/2 weeks on a week long business trip. She is going to use the ginger gum and hopefully avoid air sickness as she travels. Yay!
