The company took note of the Sea Buckhorn skin care products on the market and believed they could do better. They increased the concentration of Sea Buckthorn and made sure to create formulas that are gentle, nourishing, and point on. I received one of each item and am hooked on the lotion.
Himalayan Sea Buckthorn Body Lotion is scented with essential orange oil which gave me a nice sunny, citrus boost during Charleston’s two week rain marathon. The lotion is light to the touch and that light texture is deceiving. A little lotion gives great coverage that lasts. It’s easy to see why it won a Delicious Living 2013 Beauty and Body Award. And its bright orange color product color? That comes from the gorgeous color of Sea Buckthorn itself and does not stain the skin.
The Sea Buckthorn Exfoliating Facial Cleanser gently exfoliates without stripping the skin’s natural oils. It may be gentle enough to use daily, but not for me. The cleanser is pH balanced for all skin types, but my weird combination skin is exceptionally fragile at the moment.
The fantastic Sea Buckthorn Facial Cream is perfect for the weirdness my skin decided to throw at me. This formula protects against UV-induced stress, minimized the lines around my eyes, and felt wonderful after a long day in the garden.
