This past weekend my husband and I were unpacking a lot of our moving boxes and fixing up our new home office. As we unpacked everything we realized that we had 4 extra laptop computers that we were no longer using. Yes, that’s right…4 of them!
You see…hubby and I both use laptops for our businesses and about every 9-12 months, we each get new ones. We keep thinking that we will use the old ones as spares but for some reason, we never do.
We were looking around online for places where I could sell my laptop or in this case, laptops and found a really cool web site that allows us to do that. Not only that, we can also sell our CDs, DVDs, mobile phones (cell phones), computer monitors, clothing and all kinds of other things that we no longer need.
Now that we have made the decision to part with those computers, we are going to clean out our massive DVD and CD collection too. With all of the extra money we will be making from selling these unwanted items, we are going to use that for an upcoming vacation come October for hubby’s 52nd Birthday.
I am really looking forward to downsizing and unloading these items because I need more room in our new house for the things I really want to keep. At our “old” age, I am really looking to have “less stuff” and not “more stuff” as I am tired of cleaning things all day long!

Music Magpie sounds like a good place to sell unused stuff (even clothes). I shall have to look into it further. Thanks for the link to this site.
Glad his is working so well for you. Once you start getting rid of and selling it really gets easier and more fun. You see how your old products help others and gain you some cash…without the work of a garage sale. Thanks for the reminder of all the things you can sell.
Wow! Sounds like a great website to make some extra cash selling items that I do not need anymore. I am going to look at what I can sell! I need to sell some CD’s and other electronic items that are gathering dust!
