Made From Earth Lavender Calm Body Lotion

Made From Earth Lavender Calm Body Lotion

** Complimentary Product Received for Review **

Made from Earth Lavender Calm Body Lotion is lightweight yet moisturizing. It has nice staying power, even with multiple hand washings.

I have combination skin. Not all over, but in spots. My hands, legs, and feet are dry. My face is a classic combination with an oily T-zone and normal to dry cheeks. The rest of my body is normal to dry depending on the season. Sounds like fun, right? Finding the right body lotion is a bit of a chore, particularly in summer months when the oily skin is oilier. I love lavender, period, and my hands are taking a beating so far this gardening season.

Made From Earth Lavender Calm Body Lotion  is “organic, holistic, and healthy,” according to its label. I have to agree. The ingredients are plant-based and clan – nothing scary here. The organic aloe, lavender, and coconut oil base with Jojoba and Witch Hazel is an ideal combination for soothing and moisturizing skin. Lavender and Witch Hazel are always on hand in my home and now I have them in a lotion.

The lotion arrived quickly and I put it straight into the refrigerator so I could have the cool lotion for my legs and feet. You haven’t tried that? Try it sometime after a long workday. The cool lotion provides a quick pick me up. After a long day of yard work, it was a welcome treat. I use it most often at room temperature, especially on my hands. Although light in texture, Lavender Calm is not light on moisture. One application last through multiple hand washings and does not leave residue on my touch screen. That’s a big bonus for me and other phone addicts.

I found an additional benefit of Lavender Calm that was not expected. I decided to use some on my face while dealing with a migraine. The lotion was within arm’s reach while my lavender essential oil was across the house, so I gave the lotion a shot. Alone it may not have given relief, but it did help me relax and doze off without the heavy migraine meds. Not only did Lavender Calm help relax me, it made an excellent moisturizer. I do not usually use fragranced products on my face, but this did not irritate my skin in any way.

Would I pick up another bottle? Definitely. The ingredients fit my personal criteria, the lotion works, and have lavender as a main ingredient. Made from Earth has a wide selection of products for the hair, body, and skin, and is sure to have something for every taste. The Herbal Hair Kit in particular is calling my name.

I love your tip about refrigerating the lotion. I shall have to try that. My skin sounds very similar to yours with dry skin on the feet and hands and combination on the face. I think I would love this lavender fragrance lotion.
