Taking to time to bring something of value to another person is the true gift of sharing and caring. I like that in a company. Today I am pleased to be able to share with you a gift that will make a difference to many and one that you can help with as well.

Liberty Creek Vineyards is taking the time to bring music to our overseas troops via a donation to Operation Gratitude. Dubbed “Tunes for Troops”, this is a program that is run in conjunction with Operation Gratitude. The donation from Liberty Creek Vineyards will enable Operation Gratitude to include a country music compilation CD in the care packages that are sent out to overseas troops. The program is set up to run from May 1 through July 31, 2013.
How you can help is by visiting LibertyCreekWine.com and entering the unique code that is found on specially marked bottles of their wines. Liberty Creek will donate $1 to Operation Gratitude, up to $10,000. With that donation, the CD will be included in care packages to our troops.
Operation Gratitude is an organization that sends care packages and letters personally addressed to US service members and wounded warriors all over the world. Working from donations only, Operation Gratitude sends over 100,000+ packages annually. Receiving gifts and reminders of home is powerful and meaningful to those stationed overseas. Music from home makes that package even more special and can really help to boost moral.
Time is running out on this fabulous and easy way to donate to Operation Gratitude through Liberty Creek Wines. Grab your bottle today and enter the code to activate a donation. Until just now, I’d never heard of Operation Gratitude. Thanks so much for the link! What a great program–I learned that they accept donations of crocheted scarves to send to troops, and that’s something I can easily do. I usually crochet “cat mats” to donate to my local no-kill animal shelter, but I don’t think the cats will mind if I crochet a few scarves, too.
It’s so important that are troops know we care, think about them, and appreciate all they do. It has to be ver hard on them, and hey need our support and packages. The little comforts of home probably really help. Love it when companies get involved. It’s. help to everyone and makes me wnt to lean more about them.
I’m going to check out this brand. So little is done for our troops in terms of gratitude, it’s good to see a company that’s aware of this need. God bless our men and women in uniform!
I have never heard of Liberty Creek Vineyards before your review. The next time I buy wine I shall look for this brand. I love that they give back and show that they care about our military overseas.
