Keep First°Degree Burn Cream in Your First Aid Kit

July 21, 2013 by Kristine

Today I would like to introduce a product I received for review that I think every household should have on hand. First°Degree Burn Cream is a cream that is specially formulated to treat minor household burns quickly and effectively. First°Degree is your all-in-one burn treatment solution that:
First°Degree Burn Cream

• Soothes pain and cools the burn
• Helps prevent infection
• Helps reduce the appearance of scars

First°Degree Burn Cream is homeopathic and contains the following active ingredients: Cantharis, Calendula and Echinacea. All of these ingredients are all natural plant and animal extracts derived under the principles of Homeopathy. This combination of soothing and healing ingredients helps alleviate the rawness, itching and minor infection that comes with those common household burns. The cream should be applied immediately after experiencing a minor burn and should be applied evenly over the affected area. It can be used on adults and children as young as two.

Every single one of us has probably had a little burn at some point in our lives. Whether it’s a burn from a curling iron or flat iron (guilty!), a hot pan on the stove or cookie sheet out of the oven(guilty again!) — those household burns can happen when you least expect them. I’ve done it so many times I can’t even count them all! Especially being someone that loves to bake, I have had more than my share of little burns from piping hot cookie sheets and cake pans.

Having a tube of this cream in your medicine cabinet and/or first aid kit should be a household must. I remember when I was a kid, getting a burn and my mom would run my hand under water and pull out a stick of butter to soothe it. Butter belongs in my homemade desserts, not on my throbbing, burned finger!

Don’t be left unprepared – an unsuspecting burn can happen anytime and everywhere from the garage to the kitchen. The First Degree cream can be found at many drugstores nationwide and also comes in a convenient spray. Can’t find it near you? Check out Amazon for Burn Relief Creams.

I’m surprised there is no Aloe in it. My grandmother kept an aloe plant in her house for burns. I always hated it because the stuff was sticky and I didn’t love the smell, but it did work.

I’m always worried about my daughter burning her hands. She is an adult but often tries to clean the stove or pots right after using them. I didn’t realize there was a burn cream like this available. I’ve heard numerous good things about Echinacea and can see why it would be used in a product like this. This would be a good cream to keep on hand whether a parent with kids or an adult. Everyone gets burned sometime.

I need to get this and stick it in our kitchen drawer. Every now and then I burn my self at the oven!

Since I too often burn myself when I cook this would be a perfect cream for me. I have used a silver based cream for burns, but I would much prefer a homeopathic one with echinacea. Is there aloe in it too?

Butter was an old wive’s tale. Cold water and a piece of Aloe is much better. Have to see about this cream.

I find myself getting burned when I cook! I need to be more careful, but I see that this is a very good burn cream that can help take sting out of burns. I sure could have used it last month on a terrible burn. Glad to know about this cream, need to get some!
