Palmolive Soft Touch with Coconut Butter
I do a lot of cooking for my family and cook at least 2 out of 3 meals a day for my family. Toss in my passion for baking and well, you get the drift…always a sink full of dirty dishes!
With that said, I do use my dishwasher most of the time, but there are a few times every week when I hand wash dishes. Sometimes I hand wash them when I only have a few to do or I will hand wash them when I use my china and crystal serving dishes as I definitely don’t want those busted up in my dishwasher.

Recently I was sent a bottle of the Palmolive Soft Touch with Coconut Butter to review for all of you. I was really intrigued by the wording “soft touch” when it came to this product and wanted to give it a try.
This unique formula contains coconut butter which is mild on your hands while still leaving your dishes sparkling clean. In addition to getting your dishes clean, your hands will be softer.
My mother and I spent the afternoon baking a few pies and canning a few jars of strawberry jam. To say I had a lot of dirty dishes at the time…would be an understatement. I decided to put this Palmolive Soft Touch with Coconut Butter to the test right away and get busy washing dishes & cleaning up our mess.
And doing more dishes!
The first thing I noticed about it was that it had a fresh & clean scent…nothing over-powering at all. Next, it made a good amount of soap suds…just the right amount if you ask me. A lot of dishwashing soaps make too many suds which requires hours of rinsing and others don’t make enough…just perfect.
We spent the next 30 minutes washing and drying the dishes. The dishwashing soap did a fabulous job at getting all of the sticky jam making dishes squeaky clean, the pans came clean and what really impressed me was that my glass mixing bowls ended up being spotless when we were done. Glass mixing bowls can be a “real bear” when it comes to getting them clean & streak free.

After washing the dishes I did notice that my hands felt softer and guess what? I didn’t ruin my freshly manicured long nails either! Yay!!! Looking at my hands you would of never guessed that I spent 30 minutes washing dishes! Thanks Palmolive for the dishwashing soap and for the beautiful nail polish too!
