Travel: Get A Room With a View

July 23, 2013 by Classystaff

A few weeks ago, I was able to go and visit a dear friend for a few day in Oregon. Her husband had passed away and she needed some help with the house and other things. I was happy to be able to stay at a lovely hotel with a room right on the ocean. It was so awesome listening to the crashing waves and enjoying the peace and quiet.

A few of the nights, we slept with the door open so we could enjoy the ocean breezes under nice heavy blankets. It was heavenly! The hotel has a private beach that leads right to the water. We even saw deer wandering around in the evenings down by the water. We have to go back again and I am hoping that we get the same room. I loved it there! I am ready to move! 🙂

I just love going to the ocean and listening to the waves come in and going swimming. There are so many gorgeous beaches in California and Oregon that I would love to travel there again to see them!

The Pacific Ocean has a different fell to it than the Atlantic Ocean, but I love any ocean and a room with a view of it promotes a great feeling of contentment. I hope you can go back and enjoy it soon.

Ah, the ocean. I remember what it looks and sounds and smells like. It’s a long way from Denver to any ocean.
