Treat Dad to a Delicious Meal at Outback for Father’s Day

June 13, 2013 by Shelly

Outback Steakhouse

Content and/or other value provided by out partner, Outback Steakhouse.

My mother and father got divorced when I was around 5 years old. We primarily lived with our mother but every other Summer we would fly out to Arizona to spend the Summer with our Father. As a child, I thought this was great because I didn’t have to change schools, make new friends, etc. throughout the school years and I was able to experience living in 2 different states.

During one particular Summer when I was out in Arizona my father took us all down to Mexico on a fishing trip. We spent an entire 2 weeks down there and got to experience the Mexican culture and do a lot of fun things that I wouldn’t of experienced back here in Pennsylvania.

During that particular fishing trip my father took us out on a chartered boat for some deep sea fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. Just like most little girls, I wouldn’t touch the bait and my father baited up my hook for me. We tossed out the line and waited. Within 10 to 15 minutes I had a fish on the line and couldn’t reel him in by myself. My father took over and after struggling for over 30 minutes, we reeled in a 6 foot long hammerhead shark! Oh my gosh…that thing was huge!

I was so darn proud of myself and my deep sea fishing skills and later that night my father treated me to an in-town shopping trip to reward me. He bought me a sterling silver charm bracelet with a ton of sea related charms dangling on it and to this day…I still have that bracelet! I am hoping to pass it down to my grand daughter in a few years!

That is one of my favorite memories of spending time with dear old dad and I would love to hear about some of your memories if you are willing to share them! (leave them in our blog’s comment form below).

Anyway…Father’s Day is almost here and as part of the Outback Best Mates program, I wanted to let you know about the special treats that are in-store for dad when you take him into Outback for his special day!

When you bring dad in for a meal on Father’s Day, you’ll leave with an extra gift from Outback – a certificate for $10 off two entrees on a future visit! This Father’s Day certificate will be given out in restaurant only while supplies last.

Certificate details: Valid for Dinner only June 17-June 30, 2013. $10 off the purchase of 2 dinner entrees or $5 off the purchase of one dinner entrée. This offer is valid for dinner only, and is not valid for No Worries Wednesday Complete Meal for 2 or in conjunction with any other offer or discount.

So…who is all treating dad to lunch or dinner at Outback? Got any favorite menu items from Outback that you want to tell me about??? Would love to hear them!

Happy Father’s Day to all of the great dads in the world!

My dad loves Outback for their steaks. It’s one of my parents favorite places for steak. Good bread, salads, and potatoes, too. If you want to be really decadent go for dessert and order the chocolate thunder from down under.

It is so nice to be able to treat our Dad’s and hubby’s to a nice steak dinner, as they are usually the ones grilling them for us at home. You can always count on Outback for a nice meal and a good price.

This is a nice deal for those who go to an Outback restaurant on a regular basis. I don’t have one nearby, but I shall pass mention this to a friend of mine.
My father was always willing to help me and show me how to do things, and I think about him many times – not just on Father’s Day.

My Dad loves eating at Outback Steakhouse and I think that it is very nice that they are giving a coupon on their meals. I will have to get this deal!
