The Marriage Merger by Jennifer Probst Book Review
I became a fan of Jennifer Probst and her books when I was asked to review her first book in the Billionaire series, The Marriage Bargain. The series focuses on sisters that are looking for the perfect man. I was asked to review her latest in the series called The Marriage Merger. I was excited to be able to read this new novel.

Her sisters have found wedded bliss with their wealthy, wonderful dream men, but not Julietta Conte. She’s stayed on terra firma as top executive of the family’s corporation, La Dolce Famiglia bakery. Work is her passion, and her trendy Milan apartment her sanctuary . . . until Sawyer Wells, a masculine masterpiece in a suit, lures her out of hiding with an irresistible offer: an exclusive partnership with his international chain of boutique hotels.
Julietta’s been burned before — and trusting her brother-in-law’s friend, whose powerful gaze alone has her rethinking the best use of a conference room, is the riskiest proposition. But with a once-in-a-career chance to take the bakery global, will she mix stone-cold business with red-hot seduction?
My Thoughts:
I love books in a series. They are a great way to learn everyone involved and yet still have stand alone characters evolving though the stories. This book is powerful from the first chapter. Julietta is in a dream job – running the family business at the helm. She is strong and powerful and gets to live in Milan, but she has shut down her emotions, especially towards men, because of it. She is driven to make her mark on the business world for the family, so men are the last thing on her mind.
Enter Sawyer, a yummy, hot man in a business suit who has an offer Julietta may not be able to refuse. Right from the time she meets him, sparks fly but she is determined to keep it professional. He, on the other hand, sees Julietta as a steaming hot woman that is misunderstood by men and he want to change that.
This is a story of business mergers and hot steamy romance. There are plenty of twists and turns as well as deep, dark secrets that each of them are holding on to. Hurt, anger and learning to let go and trust are biggies for them. Then, to top it off, the matriarch of the bakery Kingdom throws a ringer into the situation.
This book is definitely a huge page turner! If this is not a must have summer read for romance novel lovers, I don’t know what is. Sorry, you have to wait until the end of July to grab this one, but you can warm up with the other books in the series and be ready to grab it on publication date. Stand in line if you have to!
