Stonefire Authentic Flatbreads Italian Thin Pizza Crust
We are pizza lovers at this house especially when we make our own! Making our own pizza is a family affair and we have saved so much money as well as found so much more flavor in the food by creating our own pizzas at home. We can all choose our favorite crust, be it thin crust or thick crust, and be happy! We have had the Stonefire Naan product before so when they introduced the Stonefire™ Authentic Flatbreads new Italian Thin Pizza Crust with Sauce, we were excited to be able to review it for you.
Hand-stretched, baked on stone as they do in Italy, and made with all-natural ingredients, the Stonefire Italian Thin Pizza Crust comes in a round shape and is packaged with an authentic Italian sauce made with real tomatoes and basil. The crust is fully cooked – simply top with your favorite ingredients and bake.
I was sent one of these Italian Pizza Crusts with Sauce packet for review. The crust is medium thin and because it is fully baked, you only need to add your ingredients. I used the sauce packet that was included. It contains enough sauce to coat the crust but not saturate it. I like my sauce a bit on the lighter side, so this worked perfectly for me.
I lightly brushed on some oil on the crust, added the sauce, some seasonings and our toppings. I did a simple 3 cheese with garlic and basil pizza since it was our lunch. It took just a few minutes to prepare and I threw it into the oven, right on the rack because I like my crust crispy. IT baked quickly and within 7 minutes, I pulled it out and we were ready to eat.
The crust is full of flavor and stands up wonderfully to the sauce and toppings. It was not soggy or baked un-evenly. It was excellent and had all of the flavor of Italian crust that I have tried before. Definitely a keeper for our family!
