NeoCell Beauty Bursts Collagen Chews
Collagen is a very important part of our body. It is the fiber that hold our body together, literally, and yet as we age, we are losing it. A few years ago, I did a review on NeoCell Super Collagen Powder and explained in depth about collagen and the effects on our body. Today, NeoCell has a new product that I was asked to review and share with you takes any complication out of adding collagen to your dietary and beauty routine. Introducing NeoCell – Beauty Bursts!
NeoCell Beauty Bursts Collagen Chews are all natural chews that deliver a beauty boost of collagen, hyaluronic acid and vitamin C. All of these items are important to keep your hair, skin and nails happy and healthy. Beauty Bursts come in two flavors – Fresh Mint Chocolate and Super Fruit Punch.
I was sent a bag of the Chocolate Chews to try out. These are a in a good size bag that contains 60 soft chews individually wrapped. This is enough for approximately 1 month. The chews contain Collagen 1&3, which is your body’s beauty protein and works on your hair, nails and skin. Super Collagen™ 1&3 is composed of nineteen amino acids and is a rich source of glycine, proline, alanine, and hydroxyproline. Hyaluronic Acid is added as it is a natural moisturizer and helps to hydrate your skin. Plus Vitamin C is added as it helps to continue to boost natural producing collagen in your system. Together, they all work to nourish your skin and fight the effects of aging.
I have long been a proponent of fighting skin aging with creams and lotions, but health and beauty comes from within our bodies too. I was interested in how these would taste because that would be critical in whether I , or you, would want to take them every day.
Each chew is wrapped in foil and they are pretty easy to un-wrap for the most part. The chews are very soft and easy to chew. The taste of the Mint Chocolate is not horrible – YAY. I have had some that taste very fake and not good at all. The mint does help with the taste and even remains a bit after you swallow. So overall taste is definitely good and nothing that will make you cringe and not want to add them to your daily routine.
These do have soy added so those with soy issues cannot take this product, plus it has sugar. Those that cannot have sugar will also not be able to add this although I personally would rather have the pure sugars (brown rice syrup and evaporated cane sugar) that NeoCell has added than anything fake and chemical. Also with the sugars, you are adding 20 calories per chew to your morning routine. I can deal with that.
what I do love is that these contain no lactose, gluten or artificial ingredients. If you are doing something good for your skin and body, why add nasty chemicals? That is a huge plus for me!
I think that the Beauty Bursts are an easy way to supplement your beauty and health routine with some collagen that is critical for anti-aging and other key factors for our body. It is a small price to pay for an additional sword against the battle of wrinkles and dull, life less hair. These are a keeper for me! Oh and guys – these are for you too!!
