My Thoughts: I am a huge fan of action flicks and let me tell you…I was NOT disappointed with this one! The story is about paramedic Nick Malloy (played by Randy Orton) who gets drugged into a cat & mouse game with a Maniac. This particular maniac lost his wife in a car crash (killed by the governor’s son who was intoxicated) and Malloy saved the drunk driver and couldn’t save the maniac’s wife.
The maniac is out for revenge and kidnaps the Governor (who got his son’s DUI & Manslaughter charges reduced to just 1 year of rehab)…once the governor has been kidnapped…he drags Malloy into this & makes him kidnap the governor’s son. Malloy complies with all of this because the maniac is telling him that he has also kidnapped Malloy’s wife.
What is really fabulous about this movie is that there are multiple plots, mysteries and suspense going on with several different characters. You do NOT guess the entire plot line until the last 5 or 10 minutes of the movie and the final outcome is one that I didn’t expect.
The acting in this movie is fantastic and I loved all of the action scenes & special effects. I was seriously glued to the TV screen the entire time…that’s right, the entire time & when I needed to use he little girl’s room…I put it on pause! LOL
I am not going to tell you how this all plays out but I will tell you this…if you love ACTION flicks with a lot of mystery, suspense & action, this movie is for you! On my rating scale (I am very picky as you know), I am giving this movie 9 stars out of 10 stars which is a rating I don’t give out too often! Fabulous movie and a MUST HAVE for your video library!
