Contour Products New LumBuddy Back Cushion
When I saw that there was a review opportunity for the LumBuddy Back Cushion, I was so hoping that I would be selected to review it. I have suffered for many many years from degenerative discs in my back from multiple injuries I sustained in accidents and at work. I can usually suck it up and deal with the pain but sometimes I have to go for the pain killers. One thing I cannot do it sit in any chair that leans backwards. While comfortable, my back will scream. So when I found out I was going to be able to review this product, I was very happy.
The Lumbuddy by Contour Products is a flexible back support cushion that can go anywhere you sit. The design is unique in that it somewhat looks like a butterfly. It spreads out across the back for a nice support. The design tapers in the center which allows it to flex with your body helping to conform for a perfect fit.
I love that it is so portable. I have been using it in my office chair since it came and it has been awesome helping to support my back. It can also fit into the car seat which will be great for any long trips. I am usually very uncomfortable on longer trips so I cannot wait to see how it works for me on something like that. The Lumbuddy Back Cushion is also quite cool since it is made from vented foam. This helps with air circulation so that lessens that amount of heat build up. The fabric is a mesh like material and that helps to reduce the heat too. Very comfy! Oh and the cover unzips so it can be washed! That is an awesome feature!
The creators thought of everything when they made this support. They included straps so you can strap the cushion to your chair in 3 different ways. I really like this because then I can get it in just the right place for the most support for my lower back.
The LumBuddy is my new best friend! I have been using it for a few weeks and it has really stepped up the support. My office chair certainly did not have that at all so this cushion has become a much needed item in my life!
