Today I’d like to share with you my experience with a product called Cellulite MD that I received for review from Cellulite Treatment, a site source for reviews, ratings and information about cellulite treatments. Cellulite occurs when fat beneath the surface of the skin is compacted against rigid connective tissue, resulting in lumpy, uneven skin around the thighs, buttocks and stomach. Cellulite MD is an anti-cellulite solution that you apply daily to help boost metabolism to reduce fat, to tone and firm the skin and to decrease excess water. This product contains powerful and clinically-proven ingredients such as:
• Glaucine
• Bladderwrack extract
• Centella asiatica extract
• Bupleurum falcatum extract
• L-Carnitine
• Coenzyme-A
• Caffeine
• Tocopheryl acetate
According to the Cellulite MD web site, these ingredients work together to nourish and moisturize your skin and reduce the appearance of ugly cellulite. In a clinical study, Cellulite MD visibly reduced cellulite by 51.2%. The study also showed a significant increase in skin smoothness, even when viewed under special cameras.
With all of this information at hand, I had high hopes that I had found a new BFF product that would never leave my side (or my backside if you want to get specific). The difference I’ve seen from using this product is slight to moderate. I’ve been using the cream for four weeks and according to the package, it says that skin will “appear more tight and toned in just a few weeks,” so I did give this product a fair shake. I have been applying the cream each day, and I’ve been working out somewhat regularly, which I think is a smart combination. I honestly can’t imagine if I ate donuts and cheeseburgers every day and applied this cream that my cellulite would magically decrease. So, I’ve been trying to make smarter choices and get that dreaded boot camp in a few times a week.
I didn’t take a photo of my backside each day (consider yourself lucky), but if I were to say how effective this product was, I’d say that I’ve noticed a small difference. I have noticed that skin does feel smoother as the product has a pleasant moisturizing affect, and the appearance of my cellulite has decreased slightly and my backside looks more a bit more toned that it did before using the cream.
Something to note when using the Cellulite MD cream is that you may experience a slight warm feeling after applying it. Not a big deal and certainly not a deal breaker for using it. I assume it’s some of the ingredients above working together to fight the lumps and bumps!
I’m one of those people that even at my thinnest, I still would have some cellulite and now that I’m older, I wish I could turn back time, but nothing is quite that easy. Cellulite MD is a good product and did produce some noticeable results. It’s not a miracle worker by any means, but I am hoping to wear my bathing suit WITHOUT a cover up at some point this summer and using this product will help me be a little bolder.
